He finds such raw emotion in his own artwork it brought him to tears. (Click on the photo to enlarge, for a better view of what I'm calling "Green on Wall, #1". I'm seriously hoping there is no #2)
I wonder if he is sorry? Look at that lip. If that's not the saddest/cutest thing you've ever seen, you're dead inside.
This was a first for Jack (and amazingly, Harper never even tried this). I think he inherently knew it was wrong because I said one "No" and he started tearing up right away. I could tell he was very honestly sorry. He's a good boy.

That's pretty cute. Poor Jack! He's a good boy!
Har! The lip! Oh my . . .
our budding graphiti artist obviously puts more serious weight in daddy's disapproval than in mine. i did spend some time last week cleaning up his art on the tile floor (right next to the paper i gave him to draw on) but he seemed unconcerned by my dismay. how can anyone resist that face? you gotta love him!
Oh my goodness! The sad face is too much to handle! I think we are leading similar lives right now because we have recently named Hudson our "Resident Tagger". We find crayon scribbles just about everywhere!
simon never did this, but jonas sure did. i remember feeling so attached to his scribbles that I couldn't find it in me to scrub them off. it was only when we moved out of that house that i bought that mr. clean magic eraser and got rid of them.
so sweet. so cute. so nice.
I love it! That's so sweet! I have a similar picture of Isabelle like this....but she used my make up instead of a crayon. : )
oh sweet boy!
this post kills me. its the perfect combination of sad and sweet!
